Mike McDonald

Mike McDonald, 62, of Oconto, Wisconsin, died Friday, April 19, 2024, at home.

Michael Douglas McDonald was born December 14, 1961, in Oconto to Willis, Sr. and Marilyn (Adams) McDonald.  He was a graduate of Oconto High School and studied welding at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.  Mike served people all of his life.  He began his working career at Coleman Products in Coleman, Wisconsin, and later Hardee's of Oconto.  In 1991 he began working as a transport driver for Ackerman Medical Transfer and also worked as a Funeral Director's Assistant at Ackerman Funeral Directors both of Oconto where Mike was extremely dedicated.  More recently, Mike was the House Manager at Discipleship, Inc. in Marinette, Wisconsin.

Mike loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He served Him at the Oconto Assembly of God and most recently at the New Life Church of Peshtigo.  Mike lovingly cared for his Mother and Father until their deaths.  He was a loving uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Mike found great joy in doing things for them such as taking them for treats and to Dan's Video to play the many arcade games.  He had a great sense of humor and will be missed greatly.
