Jay Howard Lyons

Jay H. Lyons, 65, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday morning, June 15, 2024, in the comfort of his home with his loving wife, Diane by his side.

Jay Howard Lyons was born April 27, 1969, to the late James and Edith Lyons.  He was an electrician and a jack of all trades.  His father, Jim passed away at an early age and Jay took on the role of a father figure to his siblings.  Jay was a great husband, father and big brother to his siblings who looked up to him.

He loved spending time with family, pet dogs and camping with family and friends in the great outdoors.  Jay enjoyed listening to music and was an avid Packers fan. He was also a great joke teller and loved to make people laugh.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Diane; his son, Heath (Casey) Duxbury; his sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Scott Zonick; his brother-in-law, Les Sines; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Addyson and Emerson Duxbury; his niece and nephews; Brianna and Lucas Gretzinger and Brandon Zonick and all who knew him.

Preceding Jay in death were his parents; his brother, Jeff, and his sister, Laurie. 

A celebration of Jay’s life will be held at a later date.
